DreamWorks Animation’s “How to Train your Dragon 2” (HTTYD2) is up for an Academy Award. They’ve won the Golden Globe for best Animated Feature and several other awards.
I am so honored to have been a part of the beginning of this series. “How to Train your Dragon” was my very first character surfacing gig at DreamWorks. I had the opportunity to paint Astrid, Ruffnut, & the deadly Nadder for the film (you can see my work for that film here). I have no words to describe how incredibly proud I am of the work the new crew did on “HTTYD2”! The film is simply stunning!
Although I was not a part of the second film I feel like the sugar version of the Dragons have not left our kitchen for quite some time! Over the past few months we have made hundreds of Toothless’, and friends in many different sugar forms for DreamWorks & other events.
Our cupcakes and Dragon work has been featured in various blogs and publications. Most recently, you may have spotted our sugar crew on Feb 23, 2015 issue of People magazine, on KTLA with America Ferrera talking Dragons, on CartoonBrew, on That’s Nerdalicious, and various other blogs.
If you love HTTYD2 and Toothless get ready for some Dragon overload!
First up, our 4 foot Toothless cake to celebrate the release day of “How To Train your Dragon 2” .
Various sugar sculptures for cupcakes & cake pops !
And last but not least tons of cute Golden Globe Toothless’ !
Thank you all for looking, and congratulations again to the cast, and crew of “How To Train Your Dragon 2”, and to DreamWorks Animation for this fantastic film. It’s been such a sweet joy to work with you ♥
